I really hope this is not repeating. Peter Straub who actually liked soaps died on the 4th.

Again I hope I'm not repeating, but I don't see it. I don't know why they picked yesterday but USA TODAY has done a picture heavy 'Who Has Died in 2022 So Far'

Who Has Died In 2022 as of 9-7-22

They say Anne Heche died on the 14th, so now it's in print as the 11th, the 12th and new as of yesterday the 14th. Crazy, surreal, etc.

Anyway, there may be some interest here because of the large number of people with pictures.

Coroner's report shows date of death to be the 11th.

"The coroner's office listed Aug. 11 as her date of death."

I don't remember whose memoir or film tell-all it was - maybe the recent book on Rebel Without a Cause (which she left/was booted from) - which said she introduced herself to the cast and crew as 'I used to be Marsha Hunt,' IIRC not long after being blacklisted. What a history.

First William Klein, now this. A complex and at times punishing but still staggering legend. RIP. I've been meaning to dig deeper into his '80s work (after loving Every Man for Himself with Isabelle Huppert, very different from his classic films and experimenting with speed and motion) and I'll watch First Name: Carmen today (along with another Klein film). My Life to Live (Vivre Sa Vie) will never be equalled.

      They're different characters, for sure. Dani is a "Have" but she still has the underdog, aspirational element, and yearning, for Independence. Similar to Erica Kane. When the show gets to digging into Anita's career; I want them to reveal more unresolved issues between the two. I would find it believable for someone like Dani to have grown up with resentment and complex issues being surrounded by BRILLIANCE from every corner.

      So yesterday I wandered off on a tangent about Elvis Presley, off the top of my head. Probably no one cares but I want to correct facts. Elvis Presley did have a twin who was stillborn. They named him Jesse Garon Presley & in a level of their emotional life he was very real to Elvis's mama & to a lesser degree to Elvis himself.       I can barely remember who was the person they tested her with for the AMC revival but I *do* remember kinda liking them together (anyone remember better?  lol)  But yes, I feel the same.  It might not help that when I became a regular viewer Tad was presumed dead and she was with Craig...  I do remember that my sister's best friend had been an AMC viewer with her mom and dad and that they were very excited that Tad was returning... OK I instantly remembered that.  And now once again I'm sad about what coulda been with the reboot.

      In the preview for the show back in February on Entertainment Tonight, Jeresa the costume designer was specific about each character's economic background, personality, and the character's personal fashion preferences.  Very much about the characters and not the actors. She said Eva is a thrifter, so her normal daily wardrobe would be something from a thrift store, and if BTG buys it new, they intentionally make it look used. So what you said fits about the type of thing a lower income person would buy for a fancy event.

      Yep I don't hate Javi and then he's macking on Leo and I'm done with him. Leo is a failure who needs to go away   I am bracing myself for Alex reading the manuscript and imagining him and Stephanie as the main characters, because this couple has literally nothing else to do until Joy comes back showing
