The most recent Bachelorette season had a guy (an army veteran who was smokin’ hot and seemed obviously gay) who admitted to two suicide attempts in the last three years. Not to stigmatize mental health issues, but it seemed wild that he’d be on a reality show looking to be hitched.

I've questioned reality show casting for so long. I swear they deliberately cast people with issues who should be in therapy and not on a dating show or competition series.

 

EDIT: I wonder if being 'isolated' in a reality show bubble amplifies the mental health issues people are suffering from when they aren't surrounded by their typical routine and friends/family. I've always been interested in human psychology lol
