Ryan MacDonald, whose acting career spanned six decades, and who played multiple roles on "Days of Our Lives" has passed away at the age of 89. MacDonald died on February 13, but his death had not been reported at the time. The memorial list in the new issue of SAG-AFTRA Magazine confirmed his death.

MacDonald played Scott Banning (Julie's husband) on "Days" from 1971-1973. From 1991-1992, he played Chauncey Powell, a crooked lawyer who was involved in the Hawk Hawkins storyline.

MacDonald had roles on "The Edge of Night", "The Secret Storm", "General Hospital", "Dallas", "Knots Landing", "Santa Barbara", "The Young & the Restless" and "Falcon Crest." He also appeared on hit series such as "The Odd Couple", "Lassie", "Columbo", "Hart to Hart", "Quincy", "Newhart", "The Facts of Life", "Quantum Leap" and "Star Trek: Voyager." His last acting role was in 2012. In another claim to fame, MacDonald was the centerfold in the first issue of Playgirl Magazine in 1973.
