I suppose I should also put this here, as it’s a stunning indictment of Esquire magazine, but there are also details about Bryan Singer’s treachery that I don’t remember from the Atlantic piece. In any case, it’s an essential long read.

Interesting how this human trafficking story in Jupiter, FL seems to not be getting nearly as much laser-like focus as the Jussie Smollet case.  Also terrible is the fact that the defenders of these perpetrators are out in full force to defend their actions, as if this is somehow a victim-less crime.  These women were threatened and their passports held, while the conditions they are living in are horrendous.

That headline is ridiculous.  The TV anchor still has a career to spew nonsense, so being chastized and chastened by the twitter-sphere hardly qualifies as being "demolished".

Jenna replaces Kathie Lee. There were rumors that NBC was holding out for someone splashier, but she’s a safe choice since she co-hosts all the time anyway.

This caught my eye.

I mean it's a fairly hard left-wing publication but it made a few points worth noting, especially as related to the fixed attention of the media to certain news events while ignoring others (*coughs Jussie Smollet*)

What he discusses in this Op-Ed piece is pretty scary.  Sometimes I've seen this on Twitter but from what I hear it's ten times worse on Facebook and especially What's App.
