In the "not soap" files for John Shearin, he had a heavily-recurring role on Hunter from Seasons 2 through the end of Season 4 as Lieutenant Ambrose Finn, and Finn got a great, albeit sad, swan song. In real life, Shearin died not long ago, I recall reading. Last year or the year before.

I'm looking forward to seeing his work on The Doctors, as the 7th (!!) Dr. Mike Powers. He debuted in early 1977. Retro TV is now in the reruns from mid-November 1975, so I figure it will be about 5 or 6 months before we'll see him. Thank goodness for two episodes a day!!

Was it this actress, Kimberly Foster? She was Liz Sloan, Allison's mom in 1994-95

Regarding Elaine Princi...

      There was a wig saleswoman at Parker's in a scene with Cathy Ryker on The Doctors dated 1/8/73 that looks like Elaine Princi, but she wasn't credited. I can't confirm it was her.

I have a message out to Bruce Martin of EON and LOL. I asked him about his LOL character.  I also asked if he had any other daytime roles.

I had been told that the Bruce Martin on Love of Life was not the same actor who appeared on The Edge of Night.  After he completed his roles of Keith (aka Jonah), Mr. Martin worked as a crew member of The Edge of Night.   This information (on that it was a different person on Love of Life) may be incorrect, but it is what I was told.

Two tidbits:

 

Vincent Irizarry had a role on Capitol before Guiding Light...

 

Clarice Blackburn was "Mrs. Jarvis" on ATWT   possibly around 1987.
