I think Ika's making a mistake returning, because her last stint was iconic, but I wish her luck. I can't say I'll be watching as the show hasn't been any good since season 2.

If Kevin gets naked I will watch that.

I think out of all the returnees, I'm happiest for Ika's return b/c I think she'll have the most to prove much like Da'Vonne did on BBUS. I think unlike the rest, she won't rest on her laurels and will play a good game.

at you saying you'd watch if Kevin gets naked.

It is too early, but I think it is just another version of what BB18 did. They are returnees if anything.

Yeah. I don't think anyone from her season likes her too much and I don't blame her. Sabrina, while she played the hell out of the game, went too personal at times. The lies she stayed telling on Adel, Paul, and Ika were just gross.

I did hear that she was in the running to return, but since Ika and Neda (from her season) were already set to return, they opted to choose Sindy instead.

I am not eager to see Cass again as she annoyed the f-ck out of me last year. I didn't see how she was made this great game player when she stayed making stupid moves. The stupidest move she made all season (along with Maddy) was choosing to bring Kelsey back over Loveita. I would've preferred they'd've chosen another female to take her place like Naeha, Sharry, Loveita, Talla, or Topaz.

When it comes to the returnees though, people are claiming that there is beef between Neda and Gary, so that might be interesting. I don't think Neda is gonna be in the game long given her history. I give her 3 weeks tops.

Exterior of this year's house:

The cast entered the house tonight, and Hamsterwatch & fans are posting spoilers of the show via Twitter. Some info I've collected (highlight below as spoiler isn't showing up on my toolbar):

- Ika/Dre have already formed a connection.

- Neda/Ika have joined forces for now.

- Apparently, Gary wants to work with Sindy. Neda/Ika fear Gary might come for them as he's not on the best of terms with either of them.

- Ika was not thrilled to Kevin or Cass.

- Word is that Dallas already tossed Neda under the bus saying she doesn't want to stick with the vets.

- The first HoH is endurance.

You can see people who went to the season premiere's spoilers here:

Holy [!@#$%^&*] that house!

I love that Ika and Neda are back. Kevin's overrated and annoying. Not at all happy to have to sit through Dallas and Bruno and Gary again. I like Sindy enough. Cass can get annoying.

I'm 50/50 on the returnees. In a hurry now but will try and post more thoughts later on them.

Karen won HoH. Put up Mark and Demetres.

Bruno won POV. Opted to not use it.

Mark went home 7-6.

Neda won the first shockwave twist of the season. Neda is safe till jury.

Feeds are now on. Demetres won HoH.

Apparently, a lot of drama occurred the first 6 days, which weren't shown on the first 2 episodes outside of Ika/Sindy's fight.

Cass/Neda obviously can't stand each other. Ika is dangerously playing in the middle. I think she's with Neda though.

The returnees are a mess. They already are plotting to get each other out.

    • I would argue that Another World never played "everything" for laughs. Even when there were comedic scenes in some storylines there were other storylines that were not intended as comedy.  You give 1988 as the end point, and Mary was on the canvas from August 1986 to February 1989, so she must have overlapped with the despised laughs you are referring to at least half of the time she was there. I honestly can't recall any real comedy that Mary would have been part of. I don't think she was lighthearted about choosing between two husbands, MJ's prostitution, Kathleen's death, or even her son Scott dating her daughter Cheryl.  I would have said that the amount of comedy depended on the head writer and there was more comedy under Richard Culliton and Gary Tomlin in 1984 than subsequent headwriters. I guess there was an outbreak of more comedy when Cecile kidnapped Cass from his wedding in 1986, but in general the Sin Stalker wasn't presented as funny, Mitch's return wasn't funny, John's arrival wasn't funny, Reginald wasn't funny. The tone was serious even if the plots verged on the ludicrous. And maybe that's what you mean -- but I would make a distinction between intentional comedy and storylines I can't take seriously for other reasons.
    • I'm excited for us to get back to a full weeks worth of episodes and also us beginning to move into the episodes filmed once the show premiered. We're already starting to see changes in the lighting and the way certain characters are styled. Of course we know this week we have our first recast as well. After the big Eva reveal, I hope the show continues to move into a positive direction and that we see them starting to fix some of the things we've all had issues with.
    • It seems like they may have been going in one direction for Andre and then changed their mind. He had this player/bachelor thing going at first where he was messing with Dani, seemed to be feeling Eva, and then somehow smitten by bland Ashley of all people. I feel like Ashley was supposed to be the one that finally made him want to be with someone and settle. The way he talked her up in those earlier episodes was really confusing. The wonderful, amazing nurse Ashley and conveniently she's unattainable because she has a partner, but he can't stop thinking of her and takes these busted pics of her. It was a mess. However, it all seems to have been dropped. I honestly feel like Andre can go. That may be an unpopular opinion but I don't need his breathy final syllable to be content with BTG. It's always like "There's gotta be another wh-ahyy"
    • This is where McLaibey falls apart. It becomes clear that McTavish had not thought past Brent/Marion...so the energy drops and she starts throwing things at the wall (Blakes twins, Lonatrat.)   Fans HATED this funeral. Everyone is mad at everyone else, which is fine, the death of a beloved community figure would give people a reason to come together...(Quint and Nola could come together at least for  a bit to support each other, Nola and VAn could finally admit they kinda, sorta like each other) Its just an example of McTavish's mean writing.   I have a feeling they were going to make Dahlia Frank's kid but they chickened out. Making Tina a prostitute didn't help, they could have been lovers when they were young but felt society pressure to part. Marcus took over David's role (you can't have two young black men at that time...)   Get used to it...this will happen, the same storyline over and over until the end.
    • Does anyone happen to have a recording or any footage of Jennifer’s funeral?
    • It's such a shame that the conflict couldn't be resolved in a mature way between the two actors.. especially since Albee was a bigger asset for the show in terms of character and his popular will they/won't they pairing with Deborah Saxon. One of the things about Edge was that it was just as popular with male viewers as it was with women.  It's one of things I think the show forgot in the final year or two with the deemphasis on the male characters.
