I just read they are re-releasing Crash to about 160 theaters this weekend....If you never got to see it on the big screen and it's coming to your city - I would go see it - It is MUCH better in the theater than on DVD. I think this is a good move on their part since it opened in theaters way back in May 2005.

I think she and Amy Adams might have been. Rachel Weicz (sp) was clearly the frontrunner though, she had racked up tons of awards prior to the Oscars.

Rachel Weisz is an incredible actress. And so down to earth. SHe's like Kate Winslet in that respect. English actresses always strike me as really polite and honest, not to mention articulate.

In a way its probably a good thing Heath, Michelle and Jake didnt win, they are all young and its nice if you get your oscar a little bit later in your career if you ask me! People like Gwyneth Paltrow have complained they wished they hadnt won their oscars at a young age as it takes away the drive to do a lot of award winning material and so form an impressive body of work.

I have thought about that too!! In a way i am happy Kate Winslet does not have her Oscar yet...but last year she was robbed for Eternal..and she should have also been up for Supporting Actress for Finding Neverland. So i am on the fence about her not having an Oscar yet.

Nah, I thought Rachel did an awesome job in Constant Gardener. The one person who deserved it more was Amy Adams, but her film was just too small and there was no way she was going to win.

I think if ANYONE deserved an acting Oscar from BM it was Williams, but I haven't seen the The CG so I don't know if she was robbed or not.

I havnt seen Brokeback yet..but i think u r right!! In the supporting actress category..Williams stood out more than the others.
