I was just watching Emmy speeches yesterday and of course watched Susan's. She worked tirelessly in those early years through the constant recasts of major characters to create a great cast that would take the show into its best years. RIP.

Casting Susan Lucci as Erica Kane is testament to Joan D'Incecco's talent. She was the casting director for AMC for its first 21 years...the show's best years.

Lucci's Emmy acceptance speech, in my view the greatest acceptance speech ever, singled out Ms. D'Incecco. Lucci, as ever, never forgot those who helped her on the way up.
