GH's Alexis and Sam get a BIG Surprise...

Mother's Day comes early this year for Alexis when Sam discovers that she is her biological daughter.

Nancy Lee Grahn: First of all, I LIKE this story.

People were shocked, Nancy jokes how the normal reaction is OMG that ages ME! Then Nancy thinks DON'T be ridiculous.

Then Nancy thought Ahaaa...

Now we have a circumstance that could really happen, that is human.

It's not far-reaching. I am interested in old-fashioned storytelling, so she's happy.

The week begins with the 2 women on parallel paths:

Sam is searching for her birth mother.

Alexis with Ric's help, is trying to locate the daughter she gave up for adoption as a teen.

Kelly states:The audience will find out before Sam does.

Sam will not know right away. Sam will search and hunt.

They cut from her to Alexis and the audience will figure it out.

The Lansings begin their search at the clinic where Alexis gave birth but the Director of the clinic won't tell her anything.

A clever Ric finds out the name of the law firm that handled the adoption.

Ric will charm an old girlfriend for information.

Once Alexis realizes who her daugther is she has to deal with the guilt of giving her up.

Alexis will hit a dead end when she finds out that her daughter died in a car crash.

Alexis is upset when she hears the news.

Jason and Sam do uncover her Mom's ID thanks to a yearbook.

Kelly like Nancy is also excited about this storyline.

Kelly thinks it's COOL that she's a CASSADINE.

Kelly says that Sam's reaction won't be happy and it will make her realize that her life was a lie.

Alexis knows Sam won't like this change of events considering the two woman aren't exactly on friendly terms

Ugh, this is such a dumb storyline.

Kelly states:The audience will find out before Sam does.

Ummm the audience knew a month ago with all the 'hints'...anyway, I think its great that Sam is a Cassadine, I wonder who her father will be.

I think Kelly is referring to those fans who probably weren't able to pick up on the not so subtle hints. I'm so happy! I wonder who the daddy is though.

It gives Alexis and Nancy Lee Grahn a great story so I am thrilled....

This is awesome. It is going to be great to watch. I also love how the show is gradually going into another storyline post-virus.

I actually love this s/l too. People say that its not in line with what we know about Alexis but I think it is. Alexis has always been guarded about something. She was this straight no nonsense lawyer but you always got the feeling there was more to her like she had secrets. So I can see it happen.

I like Sam but I had wished that Alexis had a son instead of a daughter. Molly should have been a boy imo.

But I am looking forward to this story. It will make for some interesting drama.

Well, I'm not surprised. At least NLG gets a storyline. I guess there's a bright side to this.
