Variety mentions William Hunt as still  on the show in Jan 75

I remember the name Bill Hunt.  I am thinking that he played a bartender who almost always had two customers.   One was played by Ed Bryce (who had left The Guiding Light).

 

He was seen often during the run of Law and Order as a criminal lawyer.  On both Somerset and Law and Order, he wore a mustache.

 

The bartender role (Bill, I think, was is name) was one of those few-days-only roles that developed into a long stretch.

Every time Dorothy Butts gets credited, she gets a new name!

I recognized her voice and thought it was Gorney. I then found some old clips of her on AMC and realized it was indeed Gorney, just a month before AMC's debut. I'm not sure where they're headed with this storyline with Carolee's new job but I have to wonder if this setup was put into place in anticipation of the possible Steve/Carolee spinoff.

I adore Dorothy Butts and always love when she gets a line or two. What are other names has she been given? It's odd they gave her Grant when they already have Lou Grant as a character.

She's been Dorothy Anderson, Dorothy Hamilton and Dorothy Taylor so far.  I just love her wide eyed delivery  and the looks on her face during the credits!  I think the person cue-ing up the credits accidentally put Grant.  Either that, or Lou is cheating on Martha with a wife!LOL
