As much as I adore JLD I'm sick of her winning but people tell me Veep is all kinds of amazing. I tried but never really got into it.

Who thought it was a good idea to let Seth Meyers host? One of the least funny people ever. I didn't even like him on SNLs Weekend Update until towards the end of his run.

I was watching and just thinking -- if he goes off the fly with some of this... not a good look. That's why he needs words to really do a good or semi good spoof of a song. The part about don't get attached to a guy on GoT and having a back up was pretty funny but none of that was good.

So far looking over the Emmy winners list all of them went to the usual suspects, with minor upsets.

Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series could have went to Andre Bauer but didn't

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series could have went to Gervais, instead of a four-peat from Jim Parson but that didn't happen
