I remember him from so many old sows, and the way Capitol rewrote his character at the end as a bad guy was unnecessary. Rest in Peace, Ed Nelson.

Ah, I admit I have a bit of a crush on him while slowly getting through the complete PP episodes.

I've only watched the first 35 (or however many were on that DVD set), and I fell completely in love with him and Dr. Rossi. I always hoped to randomly bump into him somewhere in New Orleans, but alas, it never happened.

So very sad to hear. I liked him on CAPITOL. RIP Mr. Nelson.

I watched Peyton Place when it originally aired and always thought Ed Nelson was so handsome. He was one of the reasons I watched Capitol too. May he RIP.

R.I.P. He was such a strong, charming presence on Capitol and I hated what they did to Sen. Mark Denning.
