I mean I guess they do, but the source of their psychosis is so far out of any normal human being's experience and understanding that it almost seems trite to apply it. It definitely held some good promise for a fall out of epic proportions. I could see him being blackmailed or even his lover being killed by his own hands to prove that he isn't gay.
