February 9, 201511 yr Member What a soft-spoken, unassuming young man he is. Which made his diss at the man who broke his heart all the sweeter and SO unexpected. And of course, the voice of an angel. What a great night for him. Edited February 9, 201511 yr by MissLlanviewPA

February 10, 201511 yr Member I hate her! I don't hate her, but I DESPISE that song. Makes her sound passive-aggressive and catty. **ducks for cover from the Swifties attack I'm sure to endure for saying this** Edited February 10, 201511 yr by MissLlanviewPA
February 10, 201511 yr Member I don't get how it makes her sound passive aggressive or catty when it's a whole song about being positive and shaking off the haters? And I say that as someone who generally dislikes her.

And I say that as someone who generally dislikes her. It just comes across to me as trying too hard to act like she doesn't care about the media says...which I just don't think is as true as she claims. It just seems like BS to me. That's just my opinion, though. Edited February 10, 201511 yr by MissLlanviewPA
February 10, 201511 yr Member I don't get the adoration of Sam Smith. I think people are way OTT about his soulful sound and labeling him the male Adele. I guess I fail to hear anything unique in his style which makes him seem interchangeable with the next guy who has a decent voice. Nothing stood out to me on his cd either. His giving Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne writing credits without making a big deal of it was very good of him.
February 13, 201511 yr Member Just got the last copy I could find today. I also noticed today that I couldn't find In the Lonely Hour at all when I went shopping. Looks like Sam is having a serious post-Grammy sales bump.
