I'm having to work on something with Lyndsy Fonseca in it at the moment. She's a great actress and I love her on this show as Peggy's BFF, but I still want her to make it bigger. Though she did star on that Nikita revival for years, right?

    She was lethal on Nikita. She did a great job. Expanding her role would only serve the show.

    Agent Carter is shifting story location and focus to Los Angeles. Per EW:

    Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.

    The comic was actually pretty popular with its fanbase, though I was never a big fan of DeConnick's run. It really doesn't matter, though; Marvel is very committed to Carol these days (for the last 4-5 years at least, actually), and the movie is the centerpiece of that push. They're putting these two on it in order to showcase her even more in advance of the film.

    Additionally, I believe DeConnick actually chose to leave.

    EW indicates that both James d'Arcy and Enver Gjokaj are returning, and that 'deals' are in place for Lyndsy Fonseca, CMM, etc.
