It's bye bye to Malcolm! They could have let that run to the end of the hour. I hope they'll have more time for stuff like this with a longer episode order and less fear of cancellation. There have been hints from both Lee Daniels and Tasha Smith which make me think they'll be digging deeper into Carol and Cookie's home life and past in Season 2 - Daniels has said he wants to show the poverty experience more.
