Based on the picture of him from the show in SOD, he filmed "Californication" when he still had bleach blonde hair. I'm actually think he did it right after OLTL, meaning the reason Franco came back with that hair is because of "Californication." That or he filmed it when he was on some sort of break toward the end of last year.

Why is his time off any surprise? This is how RC operates. He will have a character on front burner for weeks on end and then give them barely nothing to do until the next burst. He was barely on in December, before coming back in Jan/Feb almost every day. That's just the way RC "balances" the airtime

That rule only apply to his non-favorites. He will shove his fav down our throat until we cant take it anymore.

I love Ava but when did she catch a break in term of airtime eversince she joined the show?

The only reason is precious sabrina is having some time off is becuz TeCa is preggo.

Legal reasons are why we got a break from RoH, Ka and ME (although i never felt he was that forced on the audience as the two others).

I think he wrote RoH out for a few days due to external reasons and not by own will.

Ava was barely on in November and December, doing 8 and 7 episodes a piece. She jumped to 15 in January when her story picked up.. He rotates other airtime "hogs" from being on nonstop barely being featured all the time. Just go look at the counts for Carly, Sam, Michael, etc... from the last few months. You'll see a pattern of large counts spliced in with a large dip.

what the heck do legal reasons have to do with those three getting breaks? Is PP preventing the actors from being used in their new roles?

Roger filmed Californication a looooong time ago. I don't know why we just had a nice break from him, nor do I care, but it wasn't for Californication.

Wish I could see more of Felicia, Kevin, and Bobbie. At least Franco and Sabrina have only been on once this month. If only they'd die! But so many other repellant characters have dominated airtime all month. What a shock that Sonny/MB is #1. But it is kinda nice to see more of Tracy (but please dial back the yelling and shrieking), Ric, Liz (most of the time), and of course lovable psycho Liesl Obrecht!

The pp mess prevented Ka and cie to appear for weeks which is why i mentionned it.

As for the rest I must admit that I didnt notice that they werent on that much.

I agree that seeing more of Kevin, Bobbie and Mac would be nice. I could live with never seeing felicia again.

I didnt realize felix was on that much though. I thought he was barely on a couple of show last month.

Yeah back in April of last year when they were making the transition but that's completely irrelevant now. All 3 have been benched since the fall. Before this Nina crap started up, Silas had no storyline. Its likely when this is over, he will go back to being a supporting player with few episodes till his next major arc. Franco had 5 episodes in early December and then was gone for weeks until the Heather stuff picked up a month later and then when that finished up, he wasn't on, as seen by these counts. Kiki herself was barely used in early Fall, but is now back to being utilized regularly.
