The last time I watched one of the episodes, was when Kirsten left the restaurant when Stassi (and her other scene folks) told her that they wouldn't listen to her complaining about her boyfriend anymore, after she took him back.

Was there anything going on between him and that other female bartender?

See? Now is hookup as in going all the way or hookup as in making out. That was what have been unclear to me since I've been working so much in the last two weeks that I am showing up while episodes have already started. So I get the impression Tom and Adrianna have maybe made out once. But it didn't go farther than that. Or am I wrong?

Kristen threatening arrest in hindsight just makes me think that she was saving face cuz she was totally owned by Stassi.

Um did I miss something? When did this truth about Kristen sleeping with Jax come out? The episode opens up with Stassi going over it in great detail but did we see her finding out bc Im drawing a blank.

Kristen is a piece of sh-t. Go Stassi. I hope Tom dumps her to even if it is hypocritical

I hate to admit, but since I work in the restaurant industry...watching this is putting my workplace to shame right now. Probably which I can hold some of the details. LOL!!!

And thanks for the Tom and Adri info. I was so confused on that.

I wasn't confused on the Jax and Kristen stuff. Wow. He really will bang anything, won't he? And her? No words.

Same. :)

Has Tom lost his mind and gone after Jax over what he did with Kirsten? After all the subtle hints that Jax was saying about Tom and the other bartender messing about with each other, he's the one that screws his friend's girl?!

Now, I don't like Stassi (and her ridiculous name), but at least she backed up what she's always told that other ridiculous girl (Schema?!) she would do if anybody she knew had sex with Jax.

She would beat their ass.

If your best friend f--ked your ex-bf twice while encouraging you to take him back all while repeatedly lying to you, you wouldnt be upset? Stassi is MORE than justified in her anger

As far as hypocrites go, that Kristen is the biggest one this season. The ENTIRE season we've seen her whining, crying, throwing hissy fits to everyone over Tom possibly hooking up with Arianna, which he eventually admitted was just a kiss, yet she screwed his best friend and lied to him about it. She deserves all the hate and contempt she got this episode from everyone. I as a viewer feel vindicated in seeing this all blow up in her face bc she is the reason, Ive been tempted to drop this show. Karma is finally coming back to get her

    • I very much liked office Cleary and the actress who portrayed her (as you say, Mary Peterson).  A shame her turn didn't evolve into a contract role.   BTW, does anyone know the timeframe/years that Betty Rae served as casting director?  If i understand correctly, she not only led the effort for contract roles, but also for shorter 13- and 26-week roles.  IMO, GL had LOTS of very well-casted, limited roles, too. I'm surprised the actors throughout the soap industry, and especially P&G actors, have not assembled a book or something similar, praising Rae.  Each actor could write a few paragraphs or a page of text describing his or her experience.
    • No. Ruth had an extramarital affair with David while married to Joe.
    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
