Regarding Barrow, his death occurred in early August 1993. In either late August or early September, Louie was caught in a fire Curtis Alden started at Pins, the bowling alley that Dinahlee ran. I believe the temp recast was brought in to film those scenes as Louie. Louie didn't die in the fire, but it was a bizarre set of circumstances given what had happened. I believe Kate later found Louie had passed in his sleep, offscreen, and the funeral was held in October.
