October 28 - November 1, 2013: Good Week For GH

Anyone notice that when PP's AMC and OLTL debuted, GH's ratings dropped. But, since AMC and OLTL have been on hiatus, GH's ratings are back up?

I think that's more correlation than causation. It could easily be blamed on the seasons. The networks dropped a little in spring/summer and are starting to trend back up now that the weather is getting colder.

GH is doing well because it's an enjoyable show to watch, especially if you aren't fixated on any specific character/pairing. I know that some online fans are irritated by how the storyline focus get rotated every few days, but I don't mind it. I like all of the arcs right now, so it doesn't bother me if I don't see one of them for a week or two because I know they'll eventually be back on (it's called patience). It might bother me more if I hated one of the storylines, but I don't. I'm very happy that the ratings are reflecting how I feel about the show.

DAYS big story for sweeps is the reveal of Kristen drugging and raping Eric and filming it.

Y&R's is another child death.

B&B's is...figuring out whether Don Diamont will finally take a dump, I guess.

LOL. What?

Someone asked what the sweeps stories were on the non-GH shows.
