I know what you mean. In soaps, whenever a man cheats on his wife, the wife usually tries to stay with the man or makes things better. What I mean is, is that in real life, 9 times out of 10, the women will ultimately slam the guy down with divorce papers.

also it's funny how people were calling AMC and OLTL porn, because of the language and the possibly of adult content such as nudity, but they were okay with other shows, mostly the network soaps, who are full of violent storylines

Ya!! Having society be more open to sexuality/passion/romance without the labels with negative connotations such as "Gay, Porn, and Fluffy" is an easy fix IMO. They just have to find a "gateway drug" and I think the language would have been good.
