DAYS: 2 of Macdonald Carey's grandsons to appear on "Survivor" this fall

Aras and Vytas Baskauskas, two of Macdonald Carey (Tom Horton)'s grandsons, have been named to this season's cast of "Survivor." Aras was the winner of "Survivor: Panama: Exile Island", while his brother, Vytas, will be playing for the first time.

As with most young relatives of "Days" cast members, the Baskauskas brothers appeared on "Days of Our Lives" when they were young (Aras was 5 and Vytas was 7), as hospital patients at the Christmas story reading for the 1987 episode. Here is the parking clearance featuring both of them:

Notice also that Ariana Richards appeared as another child (Nina) in this episode. She would later go on to fame as the young girl in the hit movie "Jurassic Park."

Good luck to the Baskauskas brothers this year on "Survivor!" They will be competing with 9 other returning Survivor players (and 9 of their relatives). "Survivor: Blood vs. Water" premieres Wednesday, September 18 on CBS.

I really liked Aras for the most part on Exile Island, especially his feud with Terry, and then him getting drunk and cutting his hand in the finale. LOL. I'm actually really excited for this twist. And I'm interested in seeing how Vytas plays.

And as always Jason, thanks for the amazing wealth of info :D
