SLEEPY HOLLOW

From co-creators/executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (the Star Trek and Transformers franchises, Fringe), the thrilling new action-adventure Sleepy Hollow is a modern-day retelling of Washington Irving’s classic. ICHABOD CRANE (Tom Mison) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie) to unravel a mystery that dates all the way back to the founding fathers.

Sleepy Hollow is from K/O Paper Products in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series is co-created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove and Len Wiseman (Hawaii Five-0, Underworld and Total Recall). The series is executive-produced by Kurtzman, Orci and Wiseman and Heather Kadin. Iscove serves as supervising producer. Wiseman directed the pilot.

I am mainly excited for Nicole Beharie, I have such an admiration for her work its not even funny. So I will be tuning in just for her -- we'll see if the show sticks with me or not.

Nicole Beharie though! <3 her!

I kinda like the trailer, this shouw might creep me out and I'm down for the ride however long FOC airs it til cancellation either a few eps. midway through or after S1... I'll be surprised if it makes it past a first season.... some of these shows they greenlight to go to series I don't see having a long shelf life.

This is a thread to discuss the show so do not come in here read the posts and then bitch about being spoilt. RME.

Anybody watch? I loved the pilot. The Horseman was a serious badass modernizing quickly with the guns. I like the myth arc supporting the show. The demon in the mirror was scary.

I also like the two leads. The guy playing Ichabod Crane is sexy as hell. I have never seen the actress playing Abbie before, but I like her a lot. I think they have a nice easy chemistry that works. I can see a romance on the horizon with his ghost/witch/dead wife as the spoiler.

My only disappointments were the deaths of the Clancy Brown and John Cho's characters. I like both actors and would have liked to see them as regulars. The show probably could not afford John Cho though.

I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the season. The Headless Horseman is my favorite as he is really good with his weapons.

John Cho? Who's he? I know he was the Asian cop who died but I'm not familiar with him.

John Cho = Harold of Harold & Kumar movie fame.

Count me in as someone who is interested in seeing where this show'll go and will be tuning in next week (in large part because I want to support a good Blacktress).
