My god Jeffrey is psychotic. I didnt feel bad about Wyatt playing him and actually rooting for him in that scene.

Its official. Veronica's my favorite character and I didnt think Id EVER say that

LMAO at Hanna and Amanda's reactions to hearing the nickname 9

Selene is 4 and Katherine is only up to 9? Considering she insiniated that Selene was with Jim when she was young, I think there'd be at least 10-15 years between those affairs.

I forgot to mention one of the best lines of the episode. "Don't look at me like that, I've met his mother and she is a bitch", Kathryn is so great, she's really got fire.

The preview for the season finale looks good. LMBAO at Jeffrey on the floor whining.

He really does, and I'd love to have a sit down with him.

Veronica is becoming the best character on this show!

I am really hating Wyatt, and that is because of that louse Aaron O'Connell. He is absolutely heinous. The scene with Wyatt and Jeffrey was so dreadfully long and the room appeared to be shrinking.

Kathryn thinks this is the perfect time to talk crap to her emotionally fragile daughter?

Ugh! I don't even remember what else happened, and it was about only 9 scenes the whole damn show.

Gavin certainly delivered tonight. The scene with Veronica, David and Jeff was so long. I had to go back and clock it and got 12 minutes. Why in the sam hell would any scene be that damn long? Tyler was going for epic, but after a while, I had to roll my eyes. It was exhausting. 12 minutes?!!! Who does that?!

I prefer the longer scenes, it gives more character development and less filler like some other shows have.

Hanna outed her secret by mistake, that was a pretty good twist.

Wyatt running over Benny was not something I was expecting.

Jeffrey is still lying, if anything, his dishonest and instability should be Veronica's problem. Veronica was worse than Blake Carrington berating Steven, but I had a hard time feeling sorry for Jeffrey, he's just not sympathetic after all machination. I bet he'll try to take the fall for Wyatt next season, since that was his car that Wyatt was driving.

Oh we so do not agree. In theory I feel that way about some of the best soap scenes--classic length ones they rarely do now. But these are just DRAWN out. They say things in 5 mins which should be said in 2. "So I heard you were with that slut." "You heard I was with that slut?" "Yes, I heard you were with that slut." *pause* "Oh." "Well were you!" Add rinse repeat. Add the slow direction.... IMHO the way the scenes are stretched out is the definition of filler.

Horrible cliffhanger. Just full of WTF scenes. Bitchy zingers are great for twitter hits and watercooler talk, but they're undercut by lengthy, BORING scenes that in the end don't mean a damn thing. Sure, Veronica telling off Candace works in theory, but what's the point, when her ultimatum means nothing?

The pacing needs to drastically improve. I can't believe they cut away from Wyatt thirty seconds after he entered the house muttering about killing someone, to that LONG, anticlimactic, rambling Jeffrey is gay reveal. Good grief, Veronica's explanation about her abortion/subsequent miscarriages/miracle baby she doesn't want to be gay went on longer than Jeffrey in what should have been a defining moment in HIS life.

There was only one mildly surprising twist. Otherwise it was 39 and a half minutes of rehashing what we already knew.

Veronica is a BAD ASS BITCH! I love that ho! OMG, she gave me so many gif worthy moments to make

and then there was this dumbass fool!

"Who gave you the right? Who gave you the right to be homosexual? Jeffrey, you are being selfish."

"You are offended? GOOD, bc you are offending me with this nonsense"

I LOVE HER! I loved her story about her unborn children and how Jeffrey was her punishment for her abortion. Im sorry if this is wrong but I was not feeling Jeffrey. I was laughing at him throughout this scene and cheering her. Its dead wrong but she's such a delicious bitch to watch. For once I loved a long scene as that was very meaty.

    • Maeve makes a few sporadic appearances, but returns full-time the next spring/summer. She's back in time to see Bill and Michelle graduate, although she skulks around town and wasn't going to tell anyone she was alive. She comes back wearing this HUGE hat---which was a throwback to the old Vanesaa. lol.
    • Aww, yeah it's very heartbreaking and I mostly enjoyed the Nola/Vanessa scenes because they finally let their walls down and came together in a beautiful moment. So Nola was at the hospital already and bumped into Vanessa, who had MRI papers that fell out of her hand and Nola went down to pick them up and asked her what was going on. Later, Vanessa confided in her about her disease. Then, Nola told Zachary on the beach (he prodded her and already alluded to knowing something was going on with Van), and then Vanessa found out she told him and got a little upset. Now, however, Nola is strangely absent while everyone is mourning her death. I'm curious if Nola will actually tell people about her MRI results. I would assume so. Only Nola, Rick, Roger and Zachary know anything, although there is the MRI results letter from the mail that everyone has missed seeing at home. I'm sure it'll all come out at some point. But... I just saw the next episode and the opening already cut Vanessa out and added Dahlia and Zachary. I guess Maeve is gone for a long time

That will break my heart seeing the town continue to mourn her and assume she's dead. I can't wait to see her return though, and I have to imagine feelings will be torn between loving that she's alive and being very angry she did all of this. While I hate what Vanessa is doing, I'm happy to hear it's not totally against her character. I think you're right, had Henry still been around, she wouldn't put him through this. I'm still surprised she is with Bill, though. I get her feelings on Matt, because she wants him to move on, but still very heartbreaking. I'm glad this was Maeve's choice to have a break vs. being fired.    Interesting, so I'm curious to see who they eventually pair Phillip with. They're flirting with a Phillip/Annie pairing, but I'm not sure if they'll go that route with the Jeva drama, her growing pill addiction, and Rick's past with her.  Ugh, yeah I'm so sad to see Bridget do a total 180 in the last couple weeks. She has always been a strong character from what I've seen, but now she's just bending over backwards to get Hart to love her and it reeks of desperation. Yeah, sure, this new Hart is eye candy, but I'm already tired of seeing Hart/Dinah have sex all over Springfield and the Cayman Islands haha.
    • Yes.  I remember them together during the early summer of 1986.  They didn't share scenes again for 30 years until 2017 because Carrie wasn't on the show when Anna returned during Sydney's kidnapping.
    • I can see Kim being that way. Well, Kyle didn't have to say yes. LOL. The suicide attempt feels plot-driven. I don't know if even Long could've made it work. She'd spent so much time trying to make Reva and Kyle into a couple, it feels odd to just have them give up. Not to mention how odd it is to have Maeve agree to marry him. Re Charita---surely they could've at least tried  finding clips with who was still there. Maybe they wouldn't have been "big" moments, but surely she'd interacted with Ross, Vanessa, and Henry. Vanessa had dated Ed, FCOL. But Mo and Rick were there---surely they could've bothered to find some clips of her with them (and they did interact a fair amount) and used them. And with Ed they could've found some shot of her talking to him and just not cut to whoever was playing Ed in the clip. That to me is what feels lazy---they had more than a year to figure it out, and they went with a bunch of photos. If you were sort of centering it on Rick anyway---then find clips with them and use 'em.
    • I definitely think it's time to write off Nina for good. I think her killing Drew might actually be a good idea. She could completely lose it after losing both Sasha and Willow and she ends up murdering Drew and eventually she gets caught and sent away to prison for a long time.
    • I hope it's okay to post this here(as in from DC)
    • Quick question - did Christie and Leann share any scenes together in the '80s before Leann left the show?
    • This is the perfect way to encapsulate the situation. So many morally-reprehensible stories were foisted on the show and its characters in ATWT's dwindling years. Rape should never be used as a cheap plot device or in a way that degrades the victim. Jack's sexual assault was another heinous example of how nasty the the show's tone had become. The fact that people like Hogan Sheffer, Ron Carlivati, Jean Passanante, Charles Pratt, Dena Higley, etc., somehow end up winning awards for their material, decimates the credibility and integrity of the awards, IMHO. Soaps used to have a solid moral core and did not originally wallow in the gutter, rolling around in filth and depravity just to be cool, hip, campy, or whatever else modern-day PTB aim for. Thank you. Cruelty, degradation and misogyny are not components which lend themselves to successful soaps, which have always been predicated on warmth, family bonds, and providing a comforting haven for their audience. The genre has been crippled because the cynical and ignorant executives in charge understand neither the shows nor what the audience wants to see.
