I agree but they aren't doing so bad. As long as they hold around that number (and they may get a jump for the funeral last week) they will be in good position for when they have their big events (SHIMI and MALEX weddings). Their demos are pretty good too and really Days has only had one negative week when it comes to HH which was last week when it dropped so much. Its important that they stabilized and held on to some of what they gained in December/January.

It should also be noted too that JER soaps always do nothing huge during sweeps while the other soaps do. All other months of the year are when things seem to be moving on NBC. Its always been a JER trademark-save all the big stuff for non-sweeps months and here we are seeing it again with the two upcoming weddings which will most likely be in March.

I hope Guiding Light gets on the 80's Comeback Bandwagon and lures back a few key faves from 20 years ago (people who *started* on the show roughly 20 years ago like Vanessa, Mindy, India, etc. all count). I know the budget isn't there, but with recent dismissals, they can surely bring back people on a recurring basis. And for goodness sakes, they're in the new studio but still use the same 3 sets day after day (Company, Main Street, and a Beacon Hotel room for everyone), so are they skimping on set usage so they can save up some dough?

    • I'm all for it. Get them Nina!
    • I am blown away that Christie Clark is 51, and she debuted 39 years ago. They gave her a lovely script today.  But, I could not think of any other examples in culture of someone able to jump right back into the skin of a character, after virtually retiring from acting years ago. I was trying to recall if Carrie left for a bit with Anna after Roman died (because she wasn't at Bo & Hope's wedding), and then returned as a pre-teen Christie?  Or if she was just SORASed off-screen?  But, whenever I see the character I am reminded how much more trauma she's endured than Sami, and yet she remains such a nice person.
    • Weirdly I feel like Nina was the most sus about the entire situation.  Normally I would have given this one to Carly, but Nina was always kind of trying to make it make sense. I think Nina (and Alexis) are actually really smart characters.  They just constantly get in their own way with dumb plans lol.
    • Rewatching some of 1991 I had to appreciate what a strong week March 5-12 1991 was. Cassandra dies, Nina shoots David, Sheila switces the babies, and drunk Nikki all occurring simultaneously. 1991 and 92 were pretty strong overall.
    • Still loving all the Gio fallout, but the scenes that really surprised me this episode were the ones with Nina and Maxie. I was not expecting Nina to be the one to put together all the pieces about Sasha's baby daddy. This custody hearing is about to get explosive!
    • I really hope after the secret comes out their interactions don't stop
    • BAHAHA  I needed that laugh today. Talk about one note.  I would put Derek and Ashley a notch above Dani. Dani's scenes are basically rinse, lather, and repeat for 60 episodes and counting.  It's as if she was transported from the soap opera Passions onto this soap.  MVJ should put aside her friendship/admiration for Karla and look at the fact that this character isn't wroking as written.
    • Agreed.  It doesn't feel in character at all.
    • You could always tell whenever Douglas Marland enjoyed writing for a particular actor, because he'd pull out all the stops for them; and Julianne Moore was no exception.
    • I'm sorry, but I just can't get past the fact that it was Lois, of all people, who deceived so many people.  No matter how hard Rena Sofer tries to justify Lois' actions - and boy, does she work hard! - it just isn't something Lois would've done.
