I think it was perfectly natural to wonder if they might go that route, as they did in similar storylines on Degrassi and Glee. But I think the "chemistry" between Jack and Shane was mostly wishful thinking.

I know many still wish they went that route, and many still feel they should with Jack. I know Andrew would be open to it, I remember telling him about that and he said he would've done it..

I remember both Khan and I thought the Jack and Shane scenes got more than a little homoerotic. I didn't buy it at first, but over time the scenes got pretty iffy, with the scenes being blocked and some of the dialogue reading like jilted lovers' quarrels, and the story came to really only make sense that Jack had some sort of fixation on Shane. But they were very young and looked it so there's really not much you could've or should've done there onscreen at that time, and Andrew Trischitta could hardly be counted on to deliver in a serious story. The only people that really broke him out of his worst habits, IMO, were Howarth and KDP.

I think the best thing to do with Our Andrew is try to make him improve as a performer. Romance with either gender or livestock - or any kind of major storyline other than with trained professionals carrying him - really isn't his game at the moment, IMO. I do hope that he's worked hard and surprises me next month. Next month! Jeez! This is insane.

I know! I just checked in on our Robin over at the Twitter and her doctor says 4-6 weeks before she regains her strength. She had pneumonia. I wish her the very best, I want her return to One Life to be a fun one, free of sickness and fatigue.

So I wasn't the only one who thought Jack had this fixation on Shane, and those scenes they've had were like two boyfriends were on the outs and yeah it kind of the homo-eroticism did ooze, mostly coming from Jack. I doubt that's how Andrew was playing it that way, but that's how I interpreted it. yeah I also think with both actors being under 18 and also the backlash over Kish, they couldn't do it, I hope do it down the line
