Members CBRVA83
According to their twitter accounts, Corbin Bleu (Jeffrey) recently shot a guest appearance for an episode of the USA network comedy series "Psych" up in Canada, and Ron Raines (Carl) has also shot a guest appearance for an episode of the CBS crime drama series "Person Of Interest" that will air sometime next month. And according to one of Josh Kelly's (Cutter) twitter followers, JK is in Bulgaria right now shooting the movie "Jarheads" (the sequel to the 2005 war film "Jarhead"). Members EricMontreal22
Jarhead is getting a direct to DVD sequel? How beyond bizarre...
Members marceline
Good. I like seeing the actors on these shows get other work that they can do in the "off season."
Members CBRVA83
How do you know that "Jarheads" is going to be a direct to DVD sequel? The movie is still being filmed!
Members EricMontreal22
Because I've heard nothing about it. Jarhead th first was a pretty prestige-y film from Sam Mendes. I dunno--just a guess.
Members marceline
I can't find it on IMDB or even Google so I'm inclined to agree.
Members CBRVA83
Why do you think a movie that hasn't been announced to be made yet will be a direct to dvd movie?
Members EricMontreal22
Because a major sequel that was just about to start filming would have TON of released info.
Members Vee
CBRVA, it's filmed in Bulgaria and has no advance PR. In the real world that's called direct to DVD. Every single piece of VOD and direct DVD [!@#$%^&*] is shot in Bulgaria and the Eastern Bloc. I should know, I've dealt with about a thousand of them in my job. Members Vee
None of your business. The point, though, is any film fan could tell you the same - most low-budget direct-to-video sequels to big-budget theatrical releases are little-known and filmed in Eastern Europe on the cheap. There are a million of them. Jarheads is clearly the same. Sorry if you're upset about it, but that's life.
Members twotrey
Yep, plus Jarhead is a Universal property, and it seems it's going the route of what the studio did making the Europe-shot direct-to-DVD sequels to Death Race.
