I thought Lorraine Broderick, Gary Tomlin and Christopher Whitesell were responsible for Jessica being "outed" as Mitch's daughter. However, Michael Malone and Josh Griffith resurrected Victor in order to explain why Mitch went to so much trouble in the first place.

Re: the baby switch -- IIRC, Megan McTavish had the initial idea of Babe and Bianca's babies being switched. However, Frons, or someone at ABC, heard the pitch, thought it'd be great to tie it in with OLTL, and had Michael Malone "collaborate" with her. Hence, Kelly's super-fast pregnancy story.

On the CJ/Sarah possibility, I would think it was a more likely possibility if Susie Horgan was still involved/or if her ideas were still in play. I think it was during her EP tenure that CJ & Sarah were featured pretty prominently for soap kids. I have fuzzy memories of them going to the governor to lobby for Todd's pardon and remember them doing a quite a bit of story with RH. I remember thinking Hayden was such a downgrade from the dark-haired Sarah.

I think I might have been happier with that particular story if 1) it had stayed exclusively on AMC and 2) one of the babies (most likely Babe's) had died at birth. Actually, if it had been up to me, both babies might have lived; however, no one except the audience would have known about the switch until AJ and Miranda were teenagers -- which would be right about now, I guess.

Not that it means anything, but I think Hayden was much better as Lizzie on GUIDING LIGHT.

Horgan's work with Racina is still in place, at least for a while.

I never liked Hayden Panettiere as a child actress, ever. Way too saccharine and theatrical. I only rarely like her as an adult.

Also I dont see OLTL's tone changing much with Susie gone. Thom is still there. So I feel the vision will be similar.

Hayden was fantastic as Lizzie! The leukemia story...I'm about to digress in the OLTL thread so I must stop. But the switch from dark haired, chubby faced Sarah to Hayden who seemed much more actress-y just did not work for me.

I felt the same way about the AMC/OLTL baby switch that I did about the one GH pulled with Tea except AMC ended up with two future characters that are now part of their lineup (Miranda & AJ) while OLTL had to put another kid in the ground (Ace)
