I wonder if they are reconstructing the sets to look exactly like the old ones or if we are getting brand new buildings across the board. You know since there is a 5 year gap, they can say PV got hit with another hurricane, but this one was so devastating that they had to completely rebuild a lot of the homes. How ironic if they said Hurricane Brian nearly destroyed the town.

Sets are being kept top secret but we do know about a new coffee shop. And ofcourse PV High School. I hope we have a mixture of old & new sets. I'd like to see the yacht club & Wildwind back.

BTW Did we know about this guy? Apparently he will be playing Dylan Wilder on AMC.

I totally agree, I have never been a "couples" person. Unless you count Erica and Brooke or Adam as couples. And that's all based on the strength of the individual characters and how well they play off of one another. I don't watch soaps for romance.

I can't care about a couple unless I give a damn about the individuals first. Frons' "couple first" mentality almost killed these shows. I pray the new writers have learned from that.

Exactly--obviously someone paid some attention to who is who character wise, but I don't think it's more than that. Vee mentioned the Melrose Place prints ads which often had people just posed ina pretty looking ensemble regardless of story ideas. But if people have fun trying to make connections between actors and characters they've never even seen on screen yet and it makes them excited and passes the time until we see episodes, I should quit spoiling their fun.

The Yacht Club worked my nerves. Give me the Valley Inn any day. And since KWAK is gone may I suggest that we ditch her restaurant and bring back the Goalpost? Maybe we can get an appearance or two out of Tom Cudahy.

This may be a UO but as much as I liked the Chandler mansion, I think that the Chandler Enterprises offices are more necessary. It drove me crazy to see JR, Scott and everyone else conducting business in their house. It was impossible for me to take them seriously.

The SHCC photo shoot location definitely gives that stuffy, '80s, soft piano, clinking glasses, extras murmuring, Phoebe, Enid, Pine Valley Inn vibe.

I think it was In this photo. It definitely looks like they're sitting in the Chandler mansion..I just noticed,don't those kind of look like the secret tunnel doors in the back? ;-P IDK.

He's an up-and comer name you hear a bit about in the musical theatre circles--I didn't know he was on Broadway (though snob that I am I don't consider Rock of Ages to be Broadway ) but has done a lot of regional stuff and off-Broadway. He was the main understudy for all the male leads in last year's Off-Broadway revival of the infamous musical version of Carrie. Seems to have talent.

I have too and you're right. Sometimes it's just a issue of height and wardrobe.

Well, JB is the shortest of the veterans, by quite a bit, so placing in front and on the floor does makes sense. Her placement as a senior vet (with or without Adam as her partner) make sense.

I also noticed that almost all the women have some part of their outfit as sheer/see through, which I think it very modern and cool. I love how the outfits also had hard and soft mixtures. I also love the deep forrest green of JB's dress, which goes nicely with her hair.

It was so weird we saw it maybe 3 or 4 times in the last year or so. I think the last time we saw it was when Asher fell down that flight of stairs.
