I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

The clusterfuck will be if OLTL reboots as a fundamentally different show than it ended.

Are the writers permanently crippled by losing these characters? I doubt it. But they are definitely hobbled at a time where they need to have every asset at their disposal to get this show launched with the greatest potential for success.

Now them recasting Gnat would be different because she wasn't on GH, where many OLTL viewers went after OLTL went off the air. I doubt a recast would be bad (for ratings) if MA agreed not to return. Two different situations.

well I don't know how that will work, I doubt the actors make enough to live in two places and I am sure they have families and other responsibilities where they would have to live in one place

No one is being FIRED. Get that out of your head. OLTL wants them to do a cross over for A MONTH & then come back when story warrants but their main show will be GH

No one has to move to CT. They want to go film a months worth of episodes at first then back to GH. Then Visit OLTL when story warrants

Just because that's what RH is doing does not mean that's what they want KA and ME to do, too. We don't have any way of knowing that.

Also KA ME & RH are still on contract with ABC and will continue to get paid.
