So what celebrites do you guys know of that love soaps? I know Princess Diana and Elizabeth Taylor loved GH and Billy Currington loves GH. Reba McEntire was an All My Children fan and Julia Roberts loves DAYS. Wasn't Dolly Parton a One Life to Live fan or All My Children? I can't remember.

And I can only imagine how much more fun it got once Sally f'n Struthers was cast as Jennifer in 2002!

HA! I just edited my comment to include SS!

This is so mean, but I remember when this DC-based pop radio station (I grew up about an hour and half south in MD, it played as I was on my way to school) announcing in some kind of pop culture gossip feature that SS was going to be on GH, and one of them joked that she would be playing the hospital. And they just broke into hysterics after that. And I'll admit that, yeah, I found it kind of funny.

...In my defense, I was 13. ph34r.png

IKR? If they knew any better, they'd know the mob had taken over by then. There wouldn't have BEEN a hospital for her to play! ;)

Too bad they couldn't get Jean Stapleton to play her mom. ;)

"Do ya wanna make more money? Sure, we all do! That's why I'm in this commercial, hawking this correspondence school scam!"

Poor Sally. One day, you're flying high on America's number-one-rated sitcom; the next, you're lucky to play Miss Hannigan in a Missouri dinner theatre production of "Annie."

Better be careful with that apple, Eric. Sally's just hungry enough to pick it up and finish it for you. ;)

But what about the children?

Sally tried to eat them, but they kept jumping out of the pot and running away.
