The big deal is that Prince Harry, for the last few years, has had a major image overhaul and though he is 27, he is NOT your average 27 year old. Only weeks ago was the official representative for Her Majesty upon closing the Olympic Games. He also undertook a highly publicised tour of Jamaica for Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee, again representing her in an official capacity. THAT is the big deal, he's part of the 'slimmed down' monarchy that The Prince of Wales wants, but he's a loose cannon and something of a liability at this point. The Prince of Wales was very interested in removing the York princesses from any role in the Royal Family, this latest episode demonstrates that, at the very least, the York girls should be kept in the fold for neither of them have put a foot wrong in public life.

Yes, he is. And ultimately that is why he will be forgiven. He is to William what Princess Margaret was to The Queen and the two of them were immensely close their entire lives. Princess Margaret herself said "there has to be a good one and there has to be a bad one" and she was right. What Harry should do is live by the same motto Margaret did: "Never complain. Never explain. Never apologize."

Seriously, what's the scandal? This happened in the privacy of his own hotel suite in the company of friends. (Although one of them is seemingly less of a friend.....)

It's not like he stripped naked and ran around in public.

I guess you could argue that in this day and age with cellphones and the internet there is no such thing as privacy anymore and that Harry should be aware of this.
