As for chemistry does it matter? They are the only 2 gay characters on canvas, it's a soap, so naturally they have to hook up.

no they dont

It's DAYS. Rape is always on the horizon on DAYS. ;)

I think the biggest failure of the Will story (among many) is that they have never had any story plans for Will as a gay man. They had him as gay for PR, and more sycophantic GLAAD banquet-throwing. He has had nothing else. His coming out was an afterthought of an afterthought, barely worth one or two days of episodes from everyone in his life. It's telling that his first real story since coming out involves his having sex with a woman.

Same.

If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times: DAYS will wind up putting Will back into the closet, so to speak, and chalking all this up to a "phase he was going through."

It's like the show is afraid to bring on a male villain in the 30s-40s group because it might take the spotlight from EJ.

I would welcome it at this point just to shake Days up. But that said I am convinced Ian was supposed to be the "bad man" but that completely flopped. I wish EJ would go back to being a darker character as he is far more interesting that way. Same with Sami.

This is the reason I hate gay stories on soaps. All these shows do it for is media attention and it limits what you can do with the characters(mind you only because of how limited the story telling is). Chuck Pratt who is no way my favorite said it. It having a gay character or 2 on canvas limits the romantic potential for the characters.

That why they should bring on Bi-sexuals. It's better for story telling. I don't really have a problem with Will though. I don't think he is any worse than any of the other characters who are in a holding pattern on Days.

That's one good reason to not use smashed names. I could see potential between Carly and Rafe but Rafe and Hope is just odd. At his point I think I'd like any storyline that didn't involve Mr Rapist and his two groupies.
