Yes. Chrissy said she would [!@#$%^&*] Yandy up if she saw her in person and refused to do it so EP Mona Scott Young interviewed them in individual interviews. Chrissy also was pissed at Mona and had to do her interview with someone else.

I don't see who would have that much hate for each other though?

Benzino and Karlie? Im liking it

My ranking of the girls goes

Man I so agree on all of these

Thats pure BS. Doesnt VH1 sign these people to a contract? If not then its stupid on them for not holding them to it and then threatening action. Im sure these hoodrats would put on their happy faces and show up if money is at risk

Yes! I probably should have posted on it but I got busy with other stuff and cant remember where I left off.

Yandy...I loved when her mentor, Mona checked her. She thought she could vent and have all this support but Mona called her on her BS and tried to show that she isnt all innocent. Chrissy was crazy and a mess but I beleive Tandy did antaognize her a bit as well

It was pure BS that there wasnt a reunion but instead they had those silly interviews:

Somaya...irrelevant. She had the nerve to call mona a bitch and come at her hard bc they cut her out of the show. Damn, maybe if she aced like this while filming, they'd have kept her on

Chrissy's jealousies came out and it was clear she hated that Tandy was imposing on "her thing" She didnt want Yandy to be a star and take attention away from she and Jim. She was wrong and too old to get as childish as she did. I was kinda upset she and Mama Jones made up bc I liked Nancy going in on her. Speaking of which..

I love how this bitch cant spell and spun Psychotic Bitch into Physiotic! I love the song...lol

Man this show is so staged. I kinda wish they didnt show the behind the scene footaage of the Kim/Erica fight. The girls argued and then Mona came in to stop the rolling and point out that they didnt introduce one of the girls before Erica went in on Kim and then they refilmed it. To me that really took away from what was one of the most explosive moments of the series as the fighting isnt as spontaneous as we think it is. Looking back, I think Chrissy hitting Kimbella was staged and possibly filmed multiple times as well

Straight From the A is reporting that Diamond (Scrappy's ex/ the woman that Momma Dee wants to beat the breaks off of) is in talks to join Season 2. She was supposed to be in Season 1, but dropped when Scrappy and Momma Dee joined. They said she had a change of heart, probably bc the show has been such a success. I hope she does come on lol, she can replace Karlie

They also referred to the show as As the Hood Turns lmao

Just saw this and a mess! What does that have anything to do with the song? Its too bad bc I actually like the song. I noticed that most of the girls in there are ugly. I wonder if she did that on purpose so she stands out...lol

Which is fitting bc this is the best black soap Ive seen on tv

    • One thing I thought about is if Hayley will have a reaction to Bill threatening to kidnap and sell a baby. That's another level of viciousness and with her just having thought she was pregnant it might make her feel some type of way.
    • You're welcome. Fall 1982-Spring 1985 was the peak of primetime soaps. What a time to have been alive.
    • 1990/91 Cheers, Roseanne, A Different World, The Cosby Show, Empty Nest, The Golden Girls were still Top 10 shows, and Murphy Brown and Designing Women became Top 10 shows. It was the following season that I think was the transition season for sitcoms.
    • @xtr I loved Martin in Thursday's episode, he was almost a different character. I thought he was flirty, funny, carefree, and giggly. Glad I have someone to share my top 2 women(Nicole and Eva) with, I agree Nicole is the heart of the Dupree family, and also the heart of the show IMO. We rode into the show on the passenger side of her car, lol. What I am enjoying the most about the show, is that they did such a great job character building, because all I care about is the CHARACTER journey. Nicole, Eva, Leslie, Dani, Chelsea, etc. very invested in what's coming next. I even feel that way about Mona, Shanice, and Doug.
    • I know we have discussed the fact that Another World seemed to be planning a location shoot in Finland that got cancelled. I came across this item from the syndicated Soapbox column published June 14, 1982. "Soap operas have been experimenting extensively with on-location shooting in recent years to enhance storylines and increase their viewing audience. A major drawback is the added production costs involved. Another World, for example, cancelled a special trip for Victoria Wyndham (Rachel Cory on the show), who was scheduled to shoot scenes in Finland. The producers felt that the high price tag, along with resentment of the cast members who also wanted to travel but were to be left behind. was enough to scrap the whole project."
    • A few more thoughts about these last two episodes. I thought it was interesting how much disdain both Dani/Anita have for Eva. I thought it was amusing how Dani was calling her lying/conniving and how Anita pointed as if to say, "that part". They definitely are not here for her, and I could see them having harsh confrontations with her in addition to Leslie. I'm curious to see Kat's interaction with Eva on Monday's episode. I think it might be interesting if Kat (along with possibly Naomi/Chelsea) come around to Eva before Dani/Anita do. Of course, Kat will be understandably angry at her. But maybe a tiny part of her might feel sorry for her if she really does believe that she's Ted's daughter as well and that Leslie lied to her. I could see Kat confronting Eva again and warning her not to harm her family anymore. But I could also possibly see Kat admitting that what Ted/Leslie did regarding her was messed up as well. And maybe that will pave the way down the line for them to get along better. I also agree with the comments/speculation made in the threat that Nicole will eventually accept/probably love her someday as well. I still wouldn't mind if somehow Nicole ended up being her biological mother. They have both been acting like they care for each other in this storyline. Nicole somehow ending up being her mother would be soapy and provide some more interesting layers in this story. And regarding Andre/Dani's romance it seems like they are genuinely developing feelings for each other. I have missed episodes, so maybe more of this has been elaborated on. But it seemed like there was genuine affection between both of them when they snuck a kiss publicly in the hotel. And also, them both talking about going publicly with their relationship. I wonder what everyone's reactions will be should they be caught by someone together. Of if they flat out tell everyone about their relationship.
    • I was wondering what week it was, and it explains the low rating for Knots Landing. I was also wondering what preempted Dallas and Falcon Crest.
    • Interesting take on Dallas. Frankly I think the plot of JR Returns should have been the way Dallas ended but for whatever reason they thought they had the chance to get renewed for another season lol. A week later Knots’ 2 hour season finale ranked at #10 against Cheers #3 and LA Law at #5. There’s only a handful of other shows running that long and still doing well enough the ratings/rankings i.e. Gunsmoke, Law & Order, NCIS, Grey’s Anatomy and more recently Blue Bloods.    Another point of interest is the unraveling of the 80’s sitcoms had already begun in the spring of ‘91. The first part of a Who’s The Boss? two part season finale we see here ranked at  #40 and second part ranked at #43 the following week. Growing Pains finale the previous week barely made it into the Top 30. The Wonder Years fared no better. Cosby losing ground, Night Court and Dear John just being there etc.
    • I'm glad a lot of people are continuing to enjoy this show.

I haven't posted in a few weeks and have some catching up to do. But I did manage to look at the last two episodes after hearing about how good they were. I really enjoyed them. My thoughts on them: The affair/secret child reveal was very good. TMG was really good as Leslie, her whole confrontation with Ted/revealing all to the Duprees was very entertaining. I continue to love AM/Eva. She my top two favorites on the show (along with Nicole). I have a lot of sympathy for Eva and how she was conflicted/ultimately felt guilty about publicly revealing the truth to everyone. I wonder what will happen to her next, especially if she does go and live with the Doctor that is friends with Ted and Nicole. I lol'ed at how Martin/Smitty jumped up and grabbed Leslie when Eva was calling her crazy. The way they did that was funny to me. I haven't liked many of Martin's actions/his attitude especially regarding Smitty/his children, but I think it was interesting how he wanted to check Ted for his actions. And also wanted Bill to be questioned/confronted about his as well. I haven't been the biggest fan of the character of Andre, but I appreciated his calm and measured approach after the reveal and how he talked with Eva. I thought it was interesting that he knew about the affair and convinced Ted not to tell Nicole. Speaking of Nicole, I continue to love her character and view her as the heart of this show/Dupree family. I am interested in seeing where her journey goes as a character after this reveal. I'm looking forward to her leaning on Dani and (also Anita/Vernon, etc...) for a change.
