Umm, Ricky's not a legacy character. The term legacy character gets thrown around way too loosely around here. It doesn't apply to every child of every vet that ever existed. Hell, I don't even consider Heather a legacy character.

I agree with you. I don't even consider every vet on a sap a legacy. I feel like you have to be a really substantial character to earn that title. Or if your a descendent of one of the original core characters since alot of soaps phased out their original core families and replaced them over the years with other families.

but Cassie is not because there was absolutely no reason for us to believe that Sharon had this backstory. It was completely pulled out of thin air.

Cassie definitely is a legacy child. She wasn't pulled out of thin air.

In fact Cassie is what drove Sharon's initial story for years.
