I just blame Pissy (or Goutman or whoever) for wrapping it all up in a pretty little bow. If you want to write that story, find a way to make it matter. Just a terrible, terrible story. And now they're pretty much trying not to have Ashley share scenes with Adam so the viewers could forget what he did. Ugh.
