WHAT. THE. [!@#$%^&*].

Yeah it made NO sense and Im not quite sure what the show was promoting with this one

this clip reminds me how wasted Joe Mascolo is being so isolated with Kate and EJ. Stefano has such long history with so many characters and JM works well with so many people, and the show just doesn't want to write anything for him except being EJ's sounding board.

Maybe they'll give us Princess Gina out of this

I know what storyline they are talking about but if I did not I would think it was a storyline about giving away paperweights.

I would take Princess Gene if that is what it took to end the EJ nightmare for poor Stefano. Just think about the last few years and how shackled he is to EJ and Kate. It is like he is not allowed in a scene unless they are there. The recent Marlena scene was a welcome relief.

Couldn't they add in a VO saying " Hope searches for clues to try to figure out how her saintly late grandmother was connected to the evil Stefano Demera"? This needs to make the Soup. And I love that the VO guy says "happy thanksgiving Hope" like a sarcastic jerk for no real reason..

Days promos are never awful they are just rarely exciting and in most cases do nothing to excite viewers to tune in.

Exactly, Jane. NBC's promo peeps think audiences will tune in anyway, so why bother exerting all that effort on promos that will genuinely excite us?

Not only that, though, my WTF is over where this story might be heading. Alice Horton sharing a "bond" of some sort with Stefano DiMera? I don't like the sound of that!

Which is ironic, since ABC seems the most eager to get the heck out of the industry.

Hey now maybe there is a untapped audience of people that want papeweight-based storylines.

I love this promo. When the announcer starts the second part and ratchets up the drama "THIS WEEK!", I love it. And then the way he says at the very end "Days Of Our Lives"...he should have gotten an emmy just for that.

you see they just dont do it like that anymore. The current promos are just so lackluster. I think the most exciting one in recent memory was the Halloween Maggie/Daniel reveal and even that wasnt all that great
