New Genie Francis Interview

I know nothing about Susan Flannery [...] but from what you're saying, she's a private woman, but she can be socially engaging with her co-workers.

That's the impression I get, too. Frankly, it's ridiculous to assume every actor at every soap does (or should) be best buddies with every single one of their co-stars. It's a workplace, after all, not a freaking college dorm (and even then....).

Stick a fork in L&L. They're done. I appreciate Genie's candor so the fans don't get their hopes up about a Laura return (which is obviously what TIIC are trying to do). As far as TG goes, I could care less about his private life or how he gets along with other actors. However, I have a BIG problem with how he treats the fans. I'm not even that big of an L&L fan, but his interviews back in 2009 turned me off him forever. I don't care how "talented" the man is, when he tells me (and other fans) that we're stuck in the past and can't move forward, I get defensive. Basically, I can no longer stand Luke or Tony.

+1 million

Also, I know TG doesn't write the show, but he's had a HUGE hand in how Luke has been written so I hold him for a share of the blame for the destruction of Luke and L&L, cause he's said repeatedly he LOVES how Guza wrote Luke and hated domesticated Luke.
