Members YRBB
Susan Boyle's new album, Someone to Watch Over Me, is set to be released on November 01. The first single of the album is a cover of Depeche Mode's Enjoy the Silence. And, while it sounds like a terrible idea, it really is not: Please register in order to view this content Beautiful, haunting and touching. Members EricMontreal22
I wanna like this... I honestly do, but can't. I actually am impressed--her first album she used her voice so colourlessly-- Here she actually seems to be feeling the lyrics for once (she certainly never did when singing I Dreamed a Dream), but the arrangement, which starts great, never even goes into minor keys! I'm biased, it's one of my fave songs--I miss the dramatic key changes within each measure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDsR1JJCeG0 The lead single, from the brilliant ABBA (well, Benny/Bjorn) musical Kristina is sung well by her, but again needs more depth the lyrics. Members JellicleCat
I disagree, it was a bad idea!! But then again, I think giving her a recording contract was a bad idea. I think she is ridiculously overrated. Her voice is really nothing special, and it is completely devoid of any emotions.
Members quartermainefan
Yeah, I think she has a talent to hit all the right notes but there is just something missing from her singing. She is human muzak.
