It looks like Nathan Parsons (Ethan) won't be the sole Down Under transplant in Port Charles. Australian actor/model Nathin Art Butler announced via Twitter that he's been cast on GENERAL HOSPITAL in the role of therapist Dr. Ewan Keenan. "I was welcomed into the family of GH today," he first tweeted last week. "First day on set felt like first day of high school. Feel so blessed."

Expect Butler to make quite an entrance when he begins to air. "Moonlit beach scenes this week. Dreamy character intro," he tweeted. "My first episode airs in a fews weeks. Hope you enjoy it." According to the original casting notice for the part, Ewan is a contract role.

In addition to modeling, Butler has appeared in feature films such as Australia and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and the HBO miniseries THE PACIFIC. He's also done behind-the-scenes work as a camera operator and sound mixer. As soon as we get an air date for Butler confirmed by the soap, we will pass it on!

Ewan Keenan is going to be a very strange name to hear people pronouncing. It sounds like someone who hates Kenan and Kel.
