According to Soaps in Depth 4 actors are on their way out at Y&R.

Really no surprise, their cast is overbloated.

And, well, Riegel and McCrary were terrible recasts, Flanery wasn't all that interesting. Shame about Tristan though. Still, as long as the writing stays the same the show should be canceled, IMO.

Too bad that Colin had to be Cane's evil daddy because he was a good fit at Y&R. It's a shame they didn't he was undercover and was not evil.

I did feel a little sorry for Reigel when some Chlonan fans went psychotic on her for breaking up the greatest love that every loved.

I thought Colins original intro to the canvas and how seamlessly he fit in was fine. I thought Colin was fine being evil and devious and its a backstory for Cane that made sense. It all went off the rails IMO when someone felt they had to keep Cane and brought on that ridiculous story with GF's character and the twin.

Wow Malcolm was still there? Lol, I am honestly shocked that Darius has lasted nearly 2 years on this show.

No big loss. Im glad Riegel got axxed only after AMC taped its last episode. Thank god she will not appear on the show before the end

Darius was there for token status, not much else. I think he was also there because some of the delusional people at Y&R now may have wanted to "prove" they could recast any role. Kind of like, "Take that, Shemar Moore!"

Poor Tristan Rogers is paying the price for Genie Francis' huge flop as Genevieve. He worked great with Jill, but then, no one at Y&R cares about Jill. They made him a nut in order to try to generate some sort of interest in the Cane/Caleb/Genevieve crap, and when it didn't happen, out he goes. You can only be a sociopath pig on this show if you're a Newman.

My guess is Eden would have been fired long ago if she hadn't been pregnant. What a disaster she was from the very first day.

This is why no one should get excited when ANY actor comes to Y&R. They will always fail. Always.

Just recently they said she would have a big role once she returned from her Lifetime movie shoot. They refuse to admit she's a failure, much like with Eden Riegel and Darius McCrary. They've been blasted since they both started in 09/10, yet they kept them all this time and now will probably release them saying that it is storyline or budget dictated.

Are all this firing got something to do with the mob comnig on? I think they still got more trimming to do. By them getting rid of Malcolm does that make Neil the baby daddy.

Good news. I'm more than fine with all 4 of them leaving. I do like TR/Colin but they're too busy trying to redeem Cane and reunite Lane so he's gotta go. GF better be going too then. ER never worked as Heather and saddling her with ex. AMC co-stars did nothing to help matters. I could see them getting someone from AMC for a recast though. DM never worked as Malcolm. But if he's out then Sofia can go too. Might as well do Neil/Yolanda/Tucker/Ashley.

Wow finally some Y&R casting news I approve of. More need go since there still is dead weight. Writing has to improve most of all, doesn't really matter who's on the show when the writing is still awful.
