I recall OLTL hitting #1 in demos for Dorian hitting Jessica in 1999. ABC had a big cake for JFP and it helped her get the GH gig the following year. I can't remember if it was #1 for 18-34, too or just 18-49 though.

Todd's execution was May 29, 2006.

Not Toups, but I think he's going by 18-34 VIEWERS which is what breaks those ratings point ties.

OLTL is #1 all by itself.

OLTL definitely hit #1 in 18-49. Not sure about 18-34 either.

Thanks. OLTL didn't hit #1 in 18-34 there.

#1 in Rating. I don't do W18-34 Viewers for some reason. LOL

Okay thanks. I don't suppose anyone has the 18-34 numbers from 1999? LOL

No, lol....just say OLTL was all alone at number one for the first time this century : )

And remember, sites like TVByTheNumbers use your data (and sometimes, your commentary), so make sure you say that OLTL *has* been number one in that category lately, just not all alone there like this past week. Otherwise, they'll act like it's just a fluke it's number one.

Hmm, I might actually have them on my old computer drive, Toups. I used to track JFP's numbers very closely. I'll check and get back to this weekend, ok?

EDITED - DAYS had those old press release touting them at #1 18-49 for like 500+ weeks straight. In 1998, GH soared and beat Days in 18-49 and DAYS started to tout #1 18-34 then stopped.

It's not a GH v. OLTL thing. Both shows will be gone come this time next year. The reason some of us care about OLTL's numbers - HH, demos, etc. - is because they higher they are, the worst The Revolution is going to look this time next year. I don't think Frons regrets killing the soaps; I don't think he's going to reconsider keeping OLTL on the air. But the higher the ratings, the worse it's going to make The Revolution look.

    • That would be his older sister Stacey. She was the center of a big story back in the day. Nola was out to snag medical student Kelly Nelson, who she thought would provide her with the life she craved. He was in love with a girl named Morgan. Nola plotted to get pregnant by him, but couldn't manage to get him in bed. So she seduced Floyd, who thought she was in love with him. When she knew she was pregnant, she got Kelly drunk and made sure he woke up next to her in bed. Kelly believed her when she told him he made her pregnant. They were about to elope to Las Vegas, but her mother ratted her out and Kelly abandoned her. She almost married Floyd, but jilted him at the altar. She went to work for Quint. When the baby came prematurely, Kelly saved both of them. She named the baby Kelly Louise to irk Morgan, who was now married to Kelly. When she fell in love with Quint, she had a change of heart over all the trouble she had caused, so she changed the baby's name to Anastasia Louise, shortened to Stacey. Quint was a devoted stepfather and Henry treated her like his own granddaughter.  After Quint and Nola leave SF, I believe Stacey is never seen again. Which is odd, you would think they would have brought her back with Nola and J, but they never did.

    • The counts seem small even for B&B. Thanks for posting!
    • Sooo Nick is inviting Sharon to France for this Dumas party thing. The same place they reconnected years ago during the Shick/Phick years. I wonder if it’s going to be on location? I’m going to assume not. I’m sure Y&R doesn’t have that kind of budget anymore.
    • Agree. The catfights at the clothing store alone...lol.   That's how I feel about Teresa as well. Cheryl I feel seems to blend much better with Sara's breakdowns, but I definitely love her dialogue no matter who she is with.  They also forget replies about missing plot points and theories about why they might be missing so...   YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS   Oh how that scene lives rent free in my head and when it pops up online I will always watch.
    • Episode #62 Thurs May 29 US, Dani arrived at the bar at closing time and used her Dupree name to request that the bartender serve her even though it was past closing time.  Then Doug walked in and Dani convinced the bartender to serve him too.  They were both drowning their sorrows, and the scene switched to Vanessa/Joey having sex on the card table. Then no followup.  Did Dani and Doug talk? Or... ? Where did Doug go? When the next episode started, it was the next day and Dani was meeting with Pamela, and Pamela arranged for some hot guy to date Dani, but Dani wasn't interested.
