Wow, I did not see this coming, assuming the end is what it looks like. That Asher is just always up to no good! (but that's why he is great).

I hope who I think died didn't die because that would suck. I loved all the flashbacks and now we know how Lucretia survived. This was my favorite of the three episodes so far.

Yeah, this was a good one. There are times I've felt bad for Ashur, but he was pretty evil last night. I think perhaps Crixus survived. It looked like he was killed, but I think he'll survive and be taken back to Lucretia.

Oh my god! This was the most disgusting episode to date, I literally had to not only look away but cover my ears and close my eyes trying to block that torture scene out This was more graphic than Hostel.

I like how Lythia is making her move for more power, but I still don't know what Lucretia is all about. I can't believe she really believes this gods stuff, and the only thing I can come up with is she hopes to marry the old man himself. This is not as good as the first two seasons and I think the fact that everyone is no longer confined to the same house sort of hurts the show (and the loss of John Hannah) but it is still must see TV.

I agree it's not as good as the first two seasons, but I'm still enjoying it. I'm only up to episode 4 though. I think that Lucretia is now in her right mind, doesn't believe that she is a prophet and is going to screw Illythia over hard when she gets the chance and can be sure she will come out on top. Still, they are not using Lucy Lawless to her full potential this season. I love Illithia, but this season is proving to me that she isn't quite strong enough to be the main female villain. We need Lucretia back in full force from a position of power. Maybe this season is setting the foundation for that. We can hope.

Last night's episode was the best episode so far, both for the story and all the cool looking effects. Lucretia, Illythia, Glaber, and Asher were all doing their thing, and we get to see the return of Gannicus.

I'm still one episode behind, but 5 was pretty good. All Illythia's plotting undone by Spartacus again. If only he had seen that she's pregnant, that could have made for an interesting dilemma on his part.

The show is really cooking now. You need to catch up! Ashur has turned into the baddest of the bad, and there is a lot of bad to go around.

Not entirely. I have a little bit of episode 7 left to watch. I'm really wondering what's going on with illythia and Lucretia? Is Lucretia for real? I can hardly believe all is forgiven and they are best friends. Perhaps Lucretia wants to steal the baby, although that would disappoint me. I want her to have a bigger plan in mind. Ashur must die. Painfully.

I like how this year Ashur became the chief badguy. He has that bracelet as proof Ilythia's husband killed the girl girl's brother, and I have to think he will betray him before it is all over. Lucretia though I think will turn the tables on Ashur though.

I sure hope so. Do you think the friendship between L&I is real? It's hard for me to believe, but I'm starting to.

It seems so but it doesn't make sense. All in all I think this year was good, but not as good as the previous two years. I don't see how Ilythia is going to survive this unless she admits it is Spartacus' baby.

I've decided that Lucretia just wants the baby. That's the only thing that really makes sense. I don't know how she thinks she will really get it, but the way she keeps talking about the "blessing" it's the only thing I can imagine she wants.
