I agree. From the Bradley Bell era those are my favorite years. And maybe add in 2005 for jokes. It was a trainwreck, but incredibly fun when it was airing.

Wait for EP #2793 from VL... It seems deliberate I mean come on... Just after the scene with James the screen goes black and there is only voice. Just when Ridge comes to Taylor and says everything is behind them now. Miracoulsly, the ending credits are visible. This cannot be an accident, I mean, I don't believe it one bit! Looks more to me like erasing Tridge history from the memory!

How is RTL responsible for the error?? They buy the product. They only upload what they are given. Besides in the history of their YT official channel they just skipped some important episode or two with Taylor. Am I supposed to believe all of this is just an error? No background music is nothing when compared to the black screen, looks like one scene is deleted or lost somehow, it wouldn't be so strange if in a half of the scene the screen would go black and it would stay black till the very end. It would look more like an error to me

You’re quick to point fingers of blame and deem it a conspiracy lol. Please learn how distribution rights work, there is a valid reason why YouTube does not yet have seasons 9 and others.

I am not talking about the whole seasons, I am talking about their uploading of the episodes from one season and skipping particular episodes, for what reason is it I don't know, but it does not look like distribution rights to me... If showing some season, then show it complete not with one or two episodes missing, this is illogical

Oh, no, this is such bad news. I was hoping at least Videoland episodes are perfect. I hope they don't do this again the future.

It looks like they're going to skip 3667-3670 for Season 15 in the YouTube schedule. 3671 will play directly after 3666 according to their schedule. They've skipped random episodes before but not 4 in a row.

These episodes are important. They've got to be kidding. This is the Breacon sex scandal stuff. This has got to be a joke! 3667 is just when Brooke wakes up after having sex with Deacon for the first time.

ARE THEY for real - these episodes have stuff that will drive 1 year worth of story.

WTF.

Personally, I don’t feel episodes are deliberately being skipped on YouTube. I take a more positive spin in that there are other underlaying factors, mostly relating to YouTube. Entire seasons are added to YouTube in one mass upload (drag and drop). From personal experience with YouTube, you often get error messages with mass file uploads. Given full seasons of Bold contain approximately 250 episodes - that’s 250 line items so it would be easy to miss any potential errors unless you scroll each one and perform a QA check. Another factor maybe that the episode did upload successfully, however YouTube flagged it for copyright (e.g. music). This would require the uploader to look through all 250 uploads and clear copyright material - but once again, the uploader may have overlooked given the volume of episodes uploaded at the same time.

Another potential factor is that the missing episodes did upload successfully but didn’t premiere. I did flag this many months ago, but if you look at season 13 playlist there are a few episodes marked “private”, this would indicate the episodes are there, they just didn’t go live. One of these episodes would of course be Macy’s funeral episode.

For 3667-3670 that is upcoming, I dare say it’s a combination of what I have said above. Episode 3666 was flagged for copyright on YouTube and had its original music track replaced. The scene with Brooke and Deacon kissing on the bed at the end of the episode is not the original music track:

I agree due diligence should be a priority, but try enforcing that on an intern (who may have been given the task to upload episodes).

I think we should be thankful we have gotten the episodes we have received to date. Yes, I know it’s annoying some episodes are missing, but let’s hope those are rectified in due course. There are alternate ways to contact the show to highlight any YouTube error: [email protected]

In terms of missing seasons on YouTube (e.g. season 9 and others), those cannot be uploaded until the broadcast/streaming rights expire for RTL/Videoland.

We are always grateful, but I think it's quite normal and natural to want all of the episodes to be uploaded, when you are watching a soap. They are trying to promote these episodes by having actors talk about them in previews of what's to come, so it's mind-blowing to me how they will allow 4 episode break in the middle of the show's hottest storyline of 2001-2002, actually in the start of it. You just don't miss things like that. If you have time to record trailers and actors encouraging people to watch, you have time to check the unpremiered videos, or remove copyright music and etc - youtube actually gives you the opportunity to delete the music only and keep the video, so if you want, you can still keep the episode online.

I wouldn't have been saying anything if these episodes didn't have 2 very important eps with Brooke and Deacon just after they had sex. It's not some B-story like Tony and Kristen was or anything like that. Not something I would skip.

I think it's great that we can try to email Bold about these episodes and I encourage more people to do this, since I doubt they will take action after 1 or 2 emails. It would need to be multiple people.

So thank you for providing that email, and I would be one of the people telling them about this mistake. We'll see where it goes.

    • I did not care, just clarifying that was the discussion point. If there are ice cream bars in Statesville I am sure there is a full spa
    • Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.
    • No.  I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well.  That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked.  Bulletpoints:  * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?
