As we have all the episodes available, it really just depended on knowing how many episodes aired in each month/year - I can now start to do the database like you did for Days. The last time I spoke about it, in the 1990's ratings thread, if you missed it, I found this data point for BB: "I did have the 1640 correct (328 weeks x 5) = 1640 possible episodes to air between 3/23/87 to 7/2/93. And, from the script, we know 1575 aired on 7/1/93, meaning 1576 aired on 7/2/93. So 1640 - 1576 = 64. That confirms BB had a total of 64 preemptions as of 7/2/93. The 40 I have listed from the Nielsen books, plus the 24 listed earlier today (which will eventually be confirmed when I type up the rest of 1989-1991). So it looks like BB fans now have a complete (and correct) list of all BB preemptions for 1987-1995 (I'll be adding in 1996 soon). It also means any "partial" preemptions from March 1987-June 1993 were just that (none triggered a full preemption and re-air the next day). So, using those 64 preemption dates, BB fans can now list the correct airdates and episode #s from at least # 1 through # 1575. With what I have now typed out, I have the confirmed BB preemptions through July 1993 now up to 52 preemptions, which means there are (at most) 12 preemptions left to find from September 1990-August 1991. And those upcoming 12 preemptions were already posted by a BB fan, so it's just pending the check of the Nielsen books for final confirmation of those. What that # 1575 script helps confirm is that there were no classic/repeat episodes and no re-airings of partial episodes from March 1987-July 1993. What you have to do on your own, which I can't help with from Nielsen, is figure out when any "classic" BB episodes aired, and when any partial episodes might have triggered a national preemption and were re-aired the following day (from July 1993-Present). Those are the only two types of things I can't help you out with from my data. If you go to the cbs.com or paramountplus.com website, and look at the source code for the episode list, it shows the episode number inside the URLs for the cover photos of each episode. I've been religiously tracking the episode numbers of BB,YR,GH since 2018 -- comparing what I know with the episode cover photos for verification. Also you can go to the paramountpressexpress websites for Y&R and B&B and they have some episodic photos withe episode numbers attached. https://www.paramountpressexpress.com/cbs-entertainment/shows/the-bold-and-the-beautiful/episodes/ Well okay the Bregman/Osmond picture is mislabeled as 9171 -- all the pics listed as 9171 are not from episode 9171. But the BTS pic of 9135 is Oct 26, 2023. And the BTS pic of Andrea in Italy is 9049 from June 26. (It was filmed when he was touring Los Angeles but they made it seem as if he was in Italy) And all the other Italy photos on the paramountpress site match the episode numbers I have in my spreadsheet. I plan to upload AUGUST TO DECEMBER 2001 and FULL 2002 in this edited form. I am uploading with episode number only files. Since its easier for me to do it in that way. Have a great day.
