Perhaps I'm biased, b/c I've seen only Maureen Garrett as Holly, but I don't think Holly would have been as memorable had Lynn Deerfield stayed in the role. MG had that unique ability to share chemistry even with Peter Simon, who didn't start playing Ed until after she'd left the first time.
