I forgot to mention but the other day EJ, referred to Allie as Allie Horton. Thats her last name? Why isnt it Roberts? Even Brady would make more sense

Nope, she is Allie Horton. Lucas took the last name Horton.

So when did Chloe & Nicole become BFF's?

Years ago, when Nicole was doing EJ and Chloe was doing Lucas.

really? When did that happen? I thought he was still going by Lucas Roberts

It was jarrnig seeing this at first bc I remember them as enemies fighting over Brady, but I like it. Their friendship works. Probably one of the ones on the show that makes the most sense and I buy it.

Yeah it is jarring cause I remember them hating each other.

Did you just start watching Days again after a break? I started again in Aug/Sept after dropping it shortly after the dead people came back from the island.

Yeah I did. I stopped watching a few years ago, and just got back into it around when Vivian put Maggie in the tomb.

Yeah, Lucas gave up Roberts after Kate kept controlling his life. I believe it was at the time when he shut her out of his life.

I've never liked Chloe & Nicole's friendship. If someone tried to give me the flesh eating disease, I wouldn't be BFF's with the bitch.

If I think about 2004-05, it's hard for me to reconcile Nicole and Chloe being friends, but I liked the way it came about onscreen (in 2008?), and it works in the context of their lives now. They initially bonded over hating Sami (because Nicole was with EJ and Chloe was with Lucas), which was sort of funny.

They made a whole big plot point about Lucas rejecting Kate and taking the Horton last name. Will and Allie are both "Horton" now, too. (I like it because it beefs up the amount of visible Hortons... now only if they'd let those two be at things like the Horton Christmas!) It was weird when Lucas married Chloe and she became "Chloe Horton."

Oh, and the Bope scenes on Monday's episode really worked for me. Everyone thought they'd just RACE back into this reconciliation like idiots, and they're not. They've even kept them from kissing or being romantic. The talk about Zach and the crying had to happen first. I don't even necessarily need to SEE them in counseling, but I need to know that they're going, or that they're doing something comparable that addresses the trust issues rather than just jumping back into "making love."

It was a good start and that conversation was needed. However, I'm still not so sure Days is really going to delve into their problems. What we saw yesterday might be it. My guess is Days is going to play Bope as in limbo for some time.

They definetly need to address the fact that Bo fell back in love with his old flame and that he was living with and sleeping with her in their house. They shouldnt gloss over that and it has to be an issue with Hope

I agree. They also need to talk about the fact that Hope tried to KILL him. Yes, she was on pills but that anger was there and it was strong enough for her to take that action. That can't be swept under the rug either.

Then there's the fact that Hope walked out on Bo and took Ciara with him. Bo had no idea where they were and was cut off from his daughter. That was a big problem.

I'll be surprised if Days really goes all out and discusses all of these things.

I guess, for me, those issues all go together. Bo went 'rogue' during Ciara's kidnapping, Hope lashed out and left the house with Ciara, Bo jumped at the chance to be Carly's hero and found some comfort with her, and Hope went nuts and kept pushing him away until she tried to kill him. It's not like any of those incidents were isolated or without cause. It all goes back to the basic issue of not trusting each other or working together, and then they each lashed out in different ways because of hurt.
