John Driscoll is not a talented actor. He simply isn't. He isn't even charismatic to make up for his lack of acting talent. He is just there. It isn't surprising that an average soap hunk like him would get pushed out after a while.

Hasn't stopped Daniel Goddard.

I don't think it matters that much on Y&R. This show is full of men who aren't charismatic and can't act. He just came in at a disadvantage, because of the character he played.

I thought he was pretty good on GL for the first year or two, and I thought he sold the romance with Ashlee. After that I don't think he's been very good.

How the heck did you guys come to the conclusion that Chance was going to be killed from Thom's message? From what he said, it could be anything how do we know he hasn't just shot Y&R's first gay kiss or something like that? I wouldn't put it past Maria and co. to do something this stupid... kill Nina's son, and then VOILA... here, Nina... here's ANOTHER ONE! Can't he just be dissolutioned with the cop life and go back to the military? and then he can be recast and brought back in a couple of years.

I should say that I don't think it's necessarily a mistake to fire Driscoll and write Chance out. They've never known what to do with Chance and any story they had planned last year seemed to die very quickly.

I just don't think Chance should be killed off. I'm sick of people being killed for no apparent reason other than to try to con viewers into ignoring the show's many flaws under a veil of teary deathbed wails.

SOW said Driscoll's stint with Y&R ends in a BIG way. That combined with Thom coming back pretty much signals Chance is going to die.

Also, Pomerantz has to be evil because he dared to go up against the Newman family. No one is allowed to do that and get away with it.

We really shouldn't dig that up. You just know that the second Maria finds out about an unresolved thing from the past, she'll find a way to resolve it by making it ten thousand times worse.

Evidence:

- Lynn Latham had that scene with Cane talking to someone on the phone. Maria heard of this and made it worse by bringing back Phillip III from the dead and making him gay.

- William Bell never resolved who was Nina's stolen child. Maria heard of this and is now making the stupid story of Ronan.

- Smith changed history by revealing that Jill and Kay were mother and daughter. Maria wanted to correct this, but somehow managed to make things way worse than they were.

- Gloria was never charged for the crime that she committed with that cream fiasco. Maria wanted to resolve this and had Gloria in a jail for a week or so and the story was over.

Also, past characters that were ruined:

- Patty Williams as a psycho, Marge Cotrooke brought back only to be killed, both Brad and Colleen murdered, Adam brought back as a maniac, Hope brought back just to be killed off, Liz brought back for Hasselhoff's guest spot only to be killed off.

Etc.

This is just the beginning of MANY of Maria's faults.

No, that part was only about a legacy character being brought back to be ruined beyond repair.

Patty is somewhere out there and I'm sure Maria will use her one day for a little sweeps murder stunt.

If they do resolve this, I hope it's the cattle mafia. Who was on their way to find Cane. & they was experimenting with some weapon, like North Korea was doing. Or was it South Korea.
