The Olympics is a "variety show" now. I don't get it. Somewhere out there, Leslie Uggams is shaking her head in disgust.

Neither do I, neither do I.

LMAO did you really have to censor "you?"

I censored the wrong word in my HAAAAAAATE over Comedy Central's "political" shows.

So glad Bill Maher didn't win, and I like Jon Stewart, but really?

Haven't seen Real Time, so I can't say anything good or bad, but Politically Incorrect was likely the closest thing to a fusion of politics and celebrity that was ever truly interesting.

I hate sh*t like Colbert and Stewart. It's not funny, it's not interesting, and it pisses me off when I hear people my age or younger quote it like its gospel or something great. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't one's only source of news, but the way some just go on-and-on about it like it validates their credibility pisses me off.

It's pretty obvious that the producer of the Emmys put the sh!tty categories in the 9-10 slot so they wouldn't have to compete with True Blood.

Wasn't he on a reality show with Corey Feldman?

Ah, I see. So they're gonna scrape the bottom of the barrel to find a way to honor someone who didn't really have a career in the celebrated industry (i.e. Michael Jackson at the Oscars).
