NIKITA

When she was a deeply troubled teenager, Nikita was rescued from death row by a secret U.S. agency known only as Division, who faked her execution and told her she was being given a second chance to start a new life and serve her country. What they didn’t tell her was that she was being trained as a spy and assassin. Ultimately, Nikita was betrayed and her dreams shattered by the only people she thought she could trust. Now, after three years in hiding, Nikita is seeking retribution and making it clear to her former bosses that she will stop at nothing to expose and destroy their covert operation. For the time being, however, Division continues to recruit and train other young people, erasing all evidence of their former lives and turning them into cold and efficient killers. One of these new recruits, Alex, is just beginning to understand what lies ahead for her and why the legendary Nikita made the desperate decision to run. The series stars Maggie Q as Nikita, Lyndsy Fonseca as Alex, Shane West as Michael, Aaron Stanford as Birkhoff, Ashton Holmes as Thom, Tiffany Hines as Jaden, with Melinda Clarke as Amanda and Xander Berkeley as Percy. NIKITA is from Warner Bros. Television in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, with executive producers Craig Silverstein (“Bones,” “K-Ville”), Danny Cannon (“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Chuck”), McG (“Supernatural,” “Chuck,” “The O.C.,” “Charlie’s Angels”), and Peter Johnson (“Supernatural,” “Chuck”). The pilot was directed by Danny Cannon.

Thought it was going to be awesome but it's a HOT MESS! Not sure i'll even give it another try.

HATE the whole concept. Alex working with Nikita from aep1 is LAME.

I would have made Alex the daughter of Peta's Wilson(Unkwon to Alex) and have Peta Wilson appear as Percy's boss.

Percy as the top badguy is also LAME. In Le Feme Nikita tyhere really wan't a badguy , they all weree.

Mking it black and white instead of everyone being a shde of grey is an mistake.

I thought it was very good which is not a surprise because I love the spy genre. Great twist at the end by Alex in cahoots with Nikita. The show has a great cast - love Lyndsy Fonseca

I'm definitely sold on this and I'll pick it up for the full season.

And I'm glad the show well in the ratings. I hope the show can keep it up.

NIKITA has gotten even better over the last four episodes! I really wish that it would get better ratings in the key demos.

Here's the preview for Episode 9 that will air on Thursday, November 11:

It is a Michael & Nikita episode, and it looks fun and sexy! I am sure there will be plenty of angst, too.

I just started watching this one and had to play catch up because of Thad Luckinbill's Nate (huge Colleen/JT fan) wanted to see if the old magic was still there w/Lyndsy and it is..I liked how they played him low key and laughed at his reaction to when she karate chopped the guy annoying her at his party it is a funny scene...

so because of this eppy I backtracked and watched the whole season

but I like Nikita also Le Femme Nikita (movie) but liked the series better and this one is just another variation of the theme that's all...I just don't compare them because they aren't quite the same for me I mean there are similar elements but I look at them as separate.

...Peta W. is not only skilled but a very charismatic sultry actress and Maggie Q isn't in that league IMO she's not the same type but I like her well enough (American, Australian, now Asian)

and Sam so? however they brought her on would work for me....all I can say is I'm entertained when

I watch the series.

I am glad Sam is out of the Division and in her own place

Is anyone else watching? This season has been so good! I loved all the spy agencies going after each other: Team Nikita, Gogol/Zetrov, Oversight, Division, and we even got MI6. Oversight got destroyed, Division was in the hands of Amanda but nowPercy has it back, Ari killed Semak and tried to take over Gogol/Zetrov but now he's on the run with Amanda (love Ari/Amanda!) because both Gogol and Division, along with Team Nikita, are after them. LOL The last episode also a new dymanic between Nikita and Amanda where they both had a chance to kill each other but didn't.

Also loved the part where Nikita tells Amanda: "You wanna know the difference between you and me? You see a moment of weakness and I see a moment of strength."

And their last scenes in the episode both Amanda and Nikita say, "I let her live," but the meaning and tone were different.

This show needs to be renewed!! It's one of the best shows on TV right now.

    • Rewatching/binging THE X-FILES Seasons 1 and 2 (almost done). So much fun re-experiencing, especially re-discovering some of the monster-of-the-week stories. THE WEST WING Seasons 1 and 2 as well - so good to rewatch now with 20 years more life experience and understanding. ALSO.... lol FOOTBALLERS' WIVES Season 3, which is just as bonkers as I remember and so so so so fun. I had forgotten about that iconic season cliffhanger. Good times. Excited to rewatch Seasons 4 and 5 since I remember so very little about them.
    • @Toups Tyler Topits listed in alpha order with the breakdown writers 5/12 Monday episode. O'Connor still listed as both breakdown and script writer. Kreizman wrote today's script.
    • Marland was long gone by this point.  He quit in either August/September 1982. I think it was due to letting the actress play out her contract and use her for party scenes and/or scenes with Phillip/Justin.   I was surprised she was still on in June 1983 myself, because I figured she had been written out before Pam Long joined the writing staff. Thankfully, having episodes uploaded during this period on Spauldingfield YT site has helped to connect some of the dots.  It looks as though Pam Long starts the first week or so of May 1983.. and in those first few weeks: Morgan and Evie were both written off and Lillian/Mindy/Billy/Beth/Annabelle all come onto the show.

    • I can't watch until later (Canada issues). What is Philip's motivation for stealing the drug? Only plot I cared about today and you did not mention it
    • Doug III’s first day of work. Hope he does a good job… or that Tate tries to sabotage him somehow

His scenes with Holly were nice though. They’re sweet together and I understand why some people think that they have more chemistry than Tate/Holly do. And I liked that Doug III opened up to her about his past. Maybe that could lead to something good happening in the future.  I also enjoyed Roman and Kate, and how they’re both being tied into EJ’s shooting. The mystery of it all is really compelling. I don’t think Roman is the shooter though either.  I didn’t have much sympathy for Kristen though. She has no one to blame for Rachel’s problems than herself. But at the same time, I’m really surprised that Days actually remembered the Alex/Kristen fling. I thought Ron had erased that from existence. I’m not shipping them at all, but I’m definitely shipping a permanent end to Brady/Kristen but after today, I’m not so sure about that either.  And, Johnny and Chanel were still great together
